Rebecca Enzor tagged me! So I guess I’m going to answer these questions. How interesting. This is a first for me. I guess it’s called a meme (what’s a meme?)
Do you think you’re hot? I have to be sitting in a car that’s been out in the sun in 80 degree weather to be hot. Otherwise, I’m always cold. As long as I’m indoors, even in summer, I require a sweatshirt and fleece blanket. 😉
Upload a picture or wallpaper that you’re using at the moment. What a silly coincidence that it’s a My Little Pony picture, after Rebecca mentioned my shared love of them! Seriously, my desktop picture is set to change every hour through a variety of artists.
When was the last time you ate chicken meat? Homemade chicken pot pie for lunch today.
The song(s) you listened to recently. SMS (Shine) by David Crowder Band. Was feeling a bit melancholic earlier this week and put that song on repeat.
What were you thinking as you were doing this? That I really hoped my blood sugar would come back up soon so I could stop feeling like passing out and do some writing.
Do you have nicknames? What are they? One of my friends from college is the only one who ever calls me by a nickname: Aini. It was my elven name back when I was really into LoTR. (I will admit that I can write, and read with some difficulty, Tengwar, Tolkien’s elvish runes. It’s actually very useful for recording passwords.)
Tag 8 blogging friends… Wait, do I have 8 friends? 0_0
- Katy
- Susan A.
- Catie Rhodes
- Sonia Medeiros (already tagged)
- Amber West
- Rhonda Hopkins
- Tiffany A. White
- Jen Kirchner
Who’s listed as No. 1? Katy’s got an awesome blog with fun topics and lots of energy. Plus, I love her sense of humor.
Say something about No. 5 I met Amber on Twitter, but don’t know her very well yet. (Really, I don’t know hardly anybody that well yet.) But this seemed like something she’d do on her blog. 🙂
How did you get to know No. 3? Through Twitter again, and the hashtag #MyWANA. Catie is a research queen! And her blog has a lot of interesting topics on the not so distant past. I think she’d be great at writing historical fiction.
How about No. 4. I just met Sonia, but she loves the Pegasus, so I’m looking forward to reading more of her blog.
Leave a message for No. 6 Rhonda commented on my blog and then gave me a shout-out on her own. I was very honored. 🙂
Leave a lovey dovey message for No. 2. Um…(insert gushing praises) Thank you Susan for your wonderful blog and support of indie writers, your fabulous discussion questions, and for making my cat a pop star with her serial adventures. (grin)
Do No. 7 and No. 8 have any similarities? Well, I met them on the same day! They were the first to welcome me to Twitter, and I am greatly appreciative. 🙂 Tune in to Tiffany’s blog on Tuesdays for info on the hottest television shows, and drop by Jen’s to Vote Your Adventure!
That’s a Marco painting isn’t it? I love it! My husband would kill me if I put that as our background on the computer ^_^
A meme is an “idea virus” that spreads through society. Mostly it’s just a bunch of questions, or a quiz, or something similar to that. But they are fun, and the tagging ones are meant to share your followers with the people you follow 🙂
How do you pronounce Aini? Like Annie?
Yes it is. (grin) Do you know Annie Msson? I love her stuff. Most of my own use hers as starting models.
Aye-nee. At least, that was the guess back then and what stuck. Tolkien might have something to say about it. 🙂
Not familiar with Annie’s work, but I looked it up and WOAH! Beautiful! I’m going to spend all afternoon looking at pony art now 😛
Uh, oh, you got me, lol. Thanks for the nice note you gave me. That was sweet. Not sure what I would put up for a pic because the husband doesn’t like me putting pictures up of us on the internet and that is what my computer wallpaper is, lol. I’ll figure out something else, though.
About your “hot” comment, I have the exact same problem. I’m always cold until it is at least 80 degree in the house and have a surplus of fleece blankets lying around for my use. Something we certainly have in common!
You could put up another picture of the kitty. 😀
Hah! It’s amazing who you find on the Internet. My mom thinks I’m crazy, and I’m surrounded by people wearing shorts or flipflops when I’m still wearing thermals! You are the second person to admit to being as cold as I am. It’s very comforting to know that I am either not insane, or that I at least have company. 😉
I put up a pic of the raccoon for something interesting. The post is up now. I’m also glad to not be the only cold natured person out there. I told my husband I married him for his heat as he is always hot and can keep me warm, lol.
Thanks so much for the tag! I will play….it will post on June 24th. 🙂
I also wanted to say that I love your My Little Pony wallpaper. I had so many of them growing up and I’d brush their tails….
Tiffany, I loved My Little Pony when I was growing up too and used to beg my parents to buy more for me.
Oh, you guys are going to have to stop by my blog next Tuesday >:) I’m going to be talking about My Little Ponies. I used to have over 300!
Wow, we’re overrun with pony lovers here! 😀 I’m looking forward to that post, Becka! Oh, and I am going to email you. I have to dig mine out of a box, and then probably battle some second thoughts, but it is time to let go. (sigh)
So cool! Thanks for the tag, Angela. I was always like you — the one covered in blankets while everyone else was looking at me like I was crazy. It’s not so bad anymore. I guess I’m getting older. 🙂 I’ll put up my post, but it will be near the end of the month. My dad’s having surgery next week and then I’m having a minor one the next. So, I’ll be doing good to keep up with email for a couple of weeks. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
Hope both those surgeries go well, Rhonda!
Thank you!
My first tag! And what lovely compliments Angela! Thank you 🙂 I better get on to this asap,
Meanwhile, I love My Little Pony! They’re so cute and perfect and shiiiiiiiiiny!
